Grilled Salmon

Rich salmon fillets go perfectly with a simple soy sauce and brown sugar marinade that has undertones of lemon and garlic. My 9-year-old son also enjoys this dish!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillets

  • lemon pepper to taste

  • garlic powder to taste

  • salt to taste

  • ⅓ cup soy sauce

  • ⅓ cup brown sugar

  • ⅓ cup water

  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Directions

  • Salt, garlic powder, and lemon pepper are used to season salmon fillets.
  • Brown sugar, water, vegetable oil, and soy sauce should be combined in a small bowl and stirred until sugar is dissolved. Put the fish and the soy sauce mixture in a sizable plastic bag that can be sealed, then turn to coat. Put in the fridge for at least two hours.
  • grill to medium heat before using.
  • Grates should be lightly oiled. Put the salmon on the hot grill without the marinade. Salmon should be cooked for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until fork-tender.
