4 slices white bread
3 tablespoons butter, divided
2 slices Cheddar cheese
Directions
- nonstick skillet should be preheated to medium. Butter a slice of bread liberally on one side. In the hot skillet, place 1 slice of cheese and the buttered side of the bread. A second slice of bread should be butter-side up and placed on top of the cheese.
- Cook until the bottom side is just faintly browned, then flip it over and cook until the cheese is melted. Repetition is required with the remaining 2 slices of bread, butter, and cheese.
